A full and frank explanation of the variables

This explains the ways each variable is rated:

1 – empty of beautiful people, 5 – as full of beautiful people as it is likely a bar could be.
n.b.’beautiful people’ includes interesting dressed people, as well as the conventionally good looking.
Art factor
1 to 5
1 – no art at all, 5 – choc-full of art.
n.b. ‘art’ is more expansive than paintings or photographs on the wall.
Number of games
Numeric
Board games, snooker, cards etc. available for play
Food snacks
1 to 5
1 – extremely poor or non existent snacks, 5 – excellent range of snacks.
n.b. ‘food snacks’ does NOT include meals.
Extent to which other people initiate conversation
1 to 5
1 – no conversations initiated by strangers, 5 – high level of conversation initiating by others.

1 – unpleasant and uninteresting area, 5 – highly interesting local area
